BARCELONA

January 9 - 12 , 2026

This January, we invite you to a four-day special retreat edition in Barcelona, Catalonia— a focused, high-level retreat designed for photographers ready to step into the world of fashion editorials, publication and diving into film.

  • This special edition of The Kinedit takes place in a beautiful villa in the heart of Barcelona — an intimate creative space where mentorship, artistry, and collaboration meet.

Over four transformative days, we’ll work together to produce a confirmed editorial for L’Officiel, blending education, connection, and hands-on creation at the highest level.

It’s a retreat designed for photographers who want to go deeper — into their craft, their business, and their creative voice — while being surrounded by a small, supportive community.

  • Our full-day mentoring sessions are designed to help you move forward in every area of your career.

    We’ll explore:

    • Editorial storytelling and creative direction

    • The reality of the fashion and photography industry

    • Business strategy and client relationships

    • Outreach, pitching, and personal branding

    • Creative confidence, mindset, and growth

These conversations are open and honest — guided by your needs, with space to ask questions, share experiences, and find clarity in your next steps.

  • During the retreat, we’ll produce one full-scale fashion editorial that will be published in L’Officiel.

You’ll work alongside a professional team — including a stylist, creative director, makeup artist, and model — gaining hands-on experience with a real production process.

This is your chance to create published work, expand your professional network, and build a portfolio piece that reflects your growth, artistry, and high-end creative potential.

  • This edition focuses deeply on analog photography — celebrating the beauty of slowing down and reconnecting with the art of image-making.

Whether you already shoot film, are just beginning, or simply curious, you’ll learn the full process — from shooting and developing film rolls to hand-printing your images.

We’ll visit BienBien Photo Lab, where you’ll get hands-on experience developing your own film and understanding how photography truly comes to life.

It’s a creative and meditative practice that reignites inspiration — even if you continue shooting digitally afterwards.

  • Throughout the retreat, our private chef Jack Tonik will craft soulful, seasonal meals designed to nourish and connect.

We’ll open with a beautiful five-course welcome dinner, an evening of conversation, intention, and shared stories.

Every meal becomes a moment of reflection and connection — where meaningful dialogue flows naturally, and community is built around the table.
